In this sense: An exhibition without visitors did not take place. It is only completed with a visit and with an apprehension, sensation, classification of what has been seen on the basis of visitors’ own experiences. In the eye of the beholder, such a gathering of art is completed, it is charged with the divergent perspectives of the perceivers.
