Dear Artlake lovers,
We have news to share with you – some sad news and something to cheer you up.
First, the sad news: unfortunately, this year’s Artlake festival will not take place.
We understand that this news is disappointing. Honestly – we do! However, the surrounding circumstances introduce an uncertainty that leads us to the conclusion that we will not be able to find the means to host the Artlake Festival this year. The dynamics of the last few years present obstacles that make many of the original plans no longer feasible: The Corona pandemic that we still feel in our bones, the touristic developments at Bergheider See that obliged us to cancel last year’s event, the rising inflation that comes with uncertainty and fears that hold people back to devote themselves to the beautiful things in life and the market mechanisms that led to the fact that prices of service providers have increased – in some cases – by more than 100%. Therefore, we had to make the decision to take a break this year.
However, we do know that this news may bring disappointment, and we are sorry for that. Therefore, we have joined forces with Feel Festival, who can still host their event at Bergheider See, and we are excited to give you the opportunity to attend Feel Festival with your Artlake ticket. If you want to make use of this option, simply reach out to ticket@artlake-festival.de and don’t forget to head to Bergheider See from July 13th-17th, 2023.
Also, we have more good news to share:
We’re not cancelling Artlake altogether – instead, we’re doing something different and something more cozy. We’re taking Artlake to the water once again this year! That’s right, we’re hosting our beloved Artlake Berlin sessions on our boat – MS Kurier – that lays between Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg near Oberbaumbrücke on the Spree. Our team is currently curating a lovely program for you, and trust us, you will have an incredible experience.
Get ready to participate in workshops and party with us, while vibing to Berlin’s finest beats. Let’s make some unforgettable memories!
